I’m here to ask everyone, what should i do when i go to Pattaya? And recommend me what places to visit while I’m there, it can be from water activities, shopping, sight seeing, name me them and give me info on those things too, leaving in a week and would love to have some idea on the best things to do! thanks for any tips.

I was just asking that if the weather was so bad in October and November and everywhere was flooded why would they have the parties at all?[/quote:40995589ad]

The rain does not fall all day long!
The rain usually does not fall all over Thailand at the same time.
The rain is usually finished in an hour or two!
It may not rain at all for days at a time!
Most of these kids are so stoned they wouldn’t know if it was raining anyway!![/quote:40995589ad]

this is crazy, october and part of november are THE wettest months of the year for Koh Samui and Koh Pha ngan. October can see rain falling all day, every day, for weeks at a time. i’ve lived here on samui for two years now and it can flood so badly that you cannot drive most parts of the ring road so you better plan on stocking up your refrigerator with at least one weeks food if you come to the Gulf of Thailand in Oct/Nov.

As I live in Japan I feel rail travel is expensive and one might find Air travel cheaper. I recently took a trip long distance and used ANA airlines as they were far cheaper than using the bullet train system .

Living is not too expensive if you know how to budget and shop around..

I’ve moved this to the Asia Forum.

However, your question is extremely vague so I’m not sure you’ll get meaningful replies… care to be a bit more precise about what you want to know?.

you forgot Krabi.
